COME ONE, COME ALL! Shrine Circus is Ready to Thrill With Family Fun

Affordable family fun! Built to amaze! See the magic up close! Fun for all ages! Hair-raising, thrilling attractions! Awesome animal acts!

These are just a few of the ways to describe the Tangier Shrine Circus, held annually at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs.

With seven public performances, audiences can enjoy favorites like comical clowns and kooky Keystone Kops to high-flying acrobats and aerialists, amazing animals — including tigers, bears, and elephants — quick-change artists and “The Cannonball Lady.” The circus lineup changes each year — for this year’s performers, check out our ACTS page.

Circus Highlights:

  • Kids can enjoy up-close interaction as they ride on elephants, camels, and ponies, and play games, jump in bounce houses, and spend time in the petting zoo during the CIRCUS FUN FAIR.
  • Thursday night special: All seats are General Admission — seating is first-come, first-served throughout the arena. This is the most affordable way to experience the circus up close. Check out our TICKETS page to purchase yours!
  • Win a Bicycle! Children 12 and under can register to win one of dozens of new bicycles given away during the circus. Drawings are held at intermission of each public performance. Register at one of our Bicycle Giveaway booths at the Mid-America Center before each public performance. (One entry per child.)
  • Plenty of FREE PARKING is available at the Mid-America Center. We recommend you arrive at least an hour before the circus showtime to enjoy the CIRCUS FUN FAIR and get autographs from the circus clowns and the Keystone Kops in the circus program.

We’ll see you at the circus!
